Form and Fitness. I have a lot of fitness, not much form. Form is race-readiness combined with deep fitness. I think the form is long gone, although I feel well enough to do solid workouts day in, day out and though some snappiness has come back into the body I'm not going to really be able to race this fall.
That's the verdict. No SOMA Half Iron, no Cross-Country races.
As I said before Nordic season is approaching, and I'd really like to start that as early as possible simply because I enjoy it so much.
Swim- 4
Bike-4
Run- 2
Monday
Run- 40min mod on BG
Swim- Mainset 300,200,100 (4.45, 3.06, 1.29)
Tuesday
Bike- 60min fast on BG, trying to hold at least 200w. 250-300w on fast stretches
Swim- Mainset: 4x200 (3.02, 3.03, 3.06, 3.08)...
Wed
Bike- Left work a bit early, punched in 90 min/27miles on BG
Thursday
Run- 45min through Marymoor & back..
Weights/Swim- Legs... Then swim. Bad idea. I thought my toes were gonna drag the bottom of the pool for sea creatures. Mainset featured some pulling, that was about it.
Friday-
Bike- Inside riding. Was pouring out. Big Gear strength dvd
Swim- Mainset 4x200 (3.04 all).. Pulling on both w/up & cool down
Saturday-
Lovely day of fixing up the abode.. I guess that cuts into my workout time..Either way, the weather was terrible, windy & rainy
Bike- 27 miles, 90min+ on BG
Sunday-
Super tired, I just stayed up later than normal and that really cut into my energy levels.
Swim- Mainset = 3x400 on 30 seconds rest..
